| Voice Over and Character Rates |
Today, more than ever before, there are numerous applications for voice
over dialogue and character voice content. For this exact reason, I no
longer offer a "base rate sheet" as in the past. To assure the
rate is fair for both myself and my client, I offer quotes based on the
"individual project" scope.
Here is what I take into consideration, when quoting a rate!
1) How many parts are there to voice?
2) How many mins, clips, or lines of dialogue are required from me?
3) Can I handle all of the parts alone, or will the project require additional
actors?
4) Is the project a one-time use deal?
5) Will the content be used only online, or on radio, tv, in games, dvd's,
telephones, etc?
6) Is the content to be resold at retail as a game, or dvd?
Once you offer these details, I'll be informed and can offer a quote based
on these particulars and it's use. I will assure you, my rate will be VERY
reasonable, when compared to national voice over rates for 'professional'
voice over talents.
